Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

Meadowbrook’s Young Adult Ministry aims to help college- and career-age professionals in their 20s and 30s grow closer to Jesus through fellowship, faith formation and service.

Our ministry is modeled on the BLESS principles: Begin with prayer, Listen and Learn, Eat together, Serve, and Share our stories of faith in Jesus.
Our vibrant and growing community is dedicated to building a home for young adults to grow in their walk with Jesus, and have fun together.
At our monthly gatherings you might find us watching football together, playing euchre, worshipping, enjoying a bonfire, or serving in the community.
You also might see our unofficial mascot, a sweet potato (or YAM, an acronym for our ministry), around Meadowbrook.
Each month we invite a different young adult or couple from Meadowbrook to organize a social event, service opportunity, worship night, or other gathering.
If you’re interested in helping plan an event, would like to join us, or want more information on YAM, contact Annie Freyschlag at annie.freyschlag@gmail.com. We also invite you to join our Facebook group to connect and hear about upcoming events.
